Council is scheduling hearings for those submitters which advised that they wished to be heard publicly. These hearings will be held from March 2022, with protocols that fulfil the applicable COVID-19 requirements. Submitters will be contacted directly by Council.
The hearing topic streams are listed below. The first two hearing streams have been confirmed by the panel, with the remainder to be confirmed as the dates are finalised.
Submitters who have advised that they wish to be heard will be contacted and provided with a timetable and any COVID protocols well before their hearing date.
Anyone may attend the hearings, but only submitters who have indicated they wish to be heard can speak in a hearing at their scheduled time. Under the red traffic light COVID setting, links to enable the general public to watch on line will be provided. They will be published on Council’s website and Facebook page at least three days before a hearing.
If you have questions about the hearing process, phone 06 857 8060 or email the District Plan team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
