Hippocampe All-Terrain Wheelchair

About the All-Terrain Wheelchair

The All Terrain Wheelchair offers individuals with disabilities of any age, accessibility to difficult terrains, impossible in a standard wheelchair: beach, sand, swimming area, hiking trails.

Towed, pushed or self-propelled, the All Terrain wheelchair offers autonomy to its user, a third party can assist the more heavily handicapped, and in the ocean with its push bar or traction kit.

The All Terrain Wheelchair is made for the beach and the great outdoors. The balloon wheels will allow you to cross the sand, get over small obstacles, go right into the sea, and floats while you have a swim (you must be accompanied while doing this). Or go on forest trails, country walks and enjoy simple pleasures with family and friends.

Designed by a team of specialist paramedics and tested and approved by people with restricted mobility, the wheelchair adapts itself to each person’s specific needs and requirements. Sturdy, reliable and safe, you can place complete trust in it.

Collapsible weight is 14kg, and can be transported in the boot of most cars. This lightweight chair is easy to maneuver in all situations, for users of all ages. Accessibility and transfers are made easy to the low seat of the all terrain wheelchair. Its neutral buoyancy design allows it to be used in or out of the water. The double width wheels make travelling on sand simple.

Comfortable: The seat is composed of a thick and hydrophobic foam that does not absorb water and dries quickly. The frame is comfortable to the touch and does not heat up in the sun.
