  5. Talk to our Hub Coordinators about creating your own personalised Employment Pathway Plan; What is your dream job? What steps can you take to achieve it? What barriers do you need to overcome? The jobs in CHB team can support you!

What can Jobs in Central Hawke's Bay do for you?

  • We find local jobs for local people - check out the jobs board (updated weekly) in our Mobile Employment Hub, see all the opportunities available here in Central Hawke's Bay (all jobs are posted in our Facebook Group).
  • Create your pathway to employment - we work with you to create your own pathway plan to sustainable employment.
  • Help you overcome barriers to employment - we help you overcome barriers you may face such as Driver Licensing, CV Preparation, training opportunities and more. We also work with other agencies and organisations so if we can't assist with a specific service, we can put you in touch with someone who can.
  • Connect you with employers - we build strong relationships with local employers in a range of industries, to create opportunities for employment.
  • Personalise job matches for you - fill out our referral form and we will notify you of employment opportunities that may appeal to you.
  • Provide you with encouragement and support - we want you to find fulfilling and sustainable employment, therefore we will work hard to assist you to see that happen!
  • In work support - we will continue to support you in the months after you secure employment.
