Our Community Services Roadshow visits townships around the district taking services to on the road. The collaborative roadshow offers all sorts of services from AA and Library, rates support, budgeting advice, job seeker, driver licencing and more. 

Our Community Services Roadshow brings some fantastic services to your neighbourhood, saving you the trip to town and providing an opportunity to meet key community groups and get some one on one support.

Here's some insight as to what's on offer:

  • Get help applying for Council Funding and setting up an account through the Smarty Grants portal.
  • Want to get your dog microchipped or pay their registration? Our team can fix you up!
  • Financial wellbeing check and budget advice? Come see us!
  • Need help with our AA and Library services, like gold cards, digital support and more? We're here for you.
  • Want to know more about rubbish and recycling - our solid waste team are available to chat.
  • Looking for a job or keen to be put in touch with potential employees? We can help!
  • Pōrangahau Catchment Group will showcase maps of areas to be planted and examples of the plants being used.
  • The Easie Living Van will offer easy access to disability information, advice, aids and equipment for independent living.
  • EIT offers info on courses available in CHB.
  • Waka Takaro play trailer will be on site and ready for hire!
