TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS: 

Due to culvert inspections there will be weight and speed restrictions along the following roads:

  • Te Awa Road - roughly 6.5kms from Farm Road
  • Motere Road -  roughly 2.3 kms from Farm Road
Speed Restrictions: 30km/hr
Weight Restrictions: Gross 10T, individual axles limited to 2 T each and reduced to a single lane. 

 

CAUTION ADVISED

ALL ROADS Note there may be a substantial increase in potholes across the network after the rain. All rural roads should be driven with caution.

  • Tourere Road - 3.8km from Ngahape Road, down to one lane due to a washout
  • Farm Road at 12km from Waipukurau. Slip continues to move and cover road.  Please proceed with caution.
  • Kairakau Road 300m from Elsthorpe/Kahurankai Road. Road down to one lane at Bridge due to a slip near the bridge. Engineers have assessed the bridge. Repairs to be undertaken.
  • Rotohiwi Road dropout forming
  • Te Awa Road 8.5km from Farm Road – dropout forming
  • Te Uri Road at 11.3km, 13.5km and 13.6 from Mangorapa Road – Dropout forming in shoulder
  • Whangaehu Road at 1.317km and 2.366km from Cooks Tooth Road - Dropout
  • Wimbledon Road – at 9.6km south of Pōrangahau Road (North of Wall Road) – Dropout undermining road – Road is down to one lane around dropout.
