East Coast Farming Expo

East Coast Farming Expo

Agri-innovators, top-flight speakers and two full days of networking are the promise of the 2025 East Coast Farming Expo.
The two day event (February 19 -20) is aimed at East Coast sheep and beef farmers. It’s touted as a chance to fill one’s cup with a focus on reconnection, education and a chance to speak to some of the nation’s best.

Two days of interactive exhibits, seminars and demonstrations will give East Coast and Hawke’s Bay farming communities the opportunity to interact face-to-face with industry innovators and rural businesses.

It is a chance for farmers to get off farm, meet agri innovators, see what opportunities are out there to help with their businesses, and catch up with other farmers from across the region. The Expo is deliberately held mid-week so farmers can spend a day off farm working on their businesses without losing the weekend.

The popular Cadet Challenge and the Station Challenge will return in 2025 - highlighting the importance of team work and include plenty of fun.
Amongst the demonstrations, highly regarded trainer and triallist Guy Peacock is confirmed to return to run working dog demos both days.

There are huge opportunities for sheep and beef farming, and we're extremely excited about the Expo's potential and being able to host it in our community.
The past couple of years have been tough for farmers, so it is important to provide an opportunity for them to get together and reconnect.
The two-day event, hosted by Wairoa Community Development Trust, will be held at the Wairoa Racecourse.
