Making a Mark; the work of Fane Flaws

Making a Mark: The Work of Fane Flaws celebrates Fane’s unerring commitment to creativity that lifts us out of the humdrum and recognises that whatever he was making, be it television commercials, books for kids, music videos or songs, Fane’s work radiated a spirit that was much bigger than any of it.

For Flaws each medium became a rich source of visual inspiration for a wider body of work and what emerged was an intersection of characters, stories and ideas. A non-conforming, wildly eccentric world fuelled by imagination and nonsense that was realised across moving image, music, painting and design.
