Central Hawke's Bay District Council would like to take this opportunity to inform you that the InterCity Group NZ are intending to bring a bus service through Takapau.
InterCity NZ are proposing to bring through two new bus services as shown below. The southbound service would arrive at approximately 09:20 hrs and the northbound service would arrive at approximately 18:00hrs.
The two bus stops will be located on Sydney Street at the positions shown on the plan below.
There will be a concrete hardstanding area to ensure that passengers can easily enter and exit the bus safely with associated bus stop road markings and signage.
This location has been selected due to the amenities already present, with toilets and a shelter within close proximity to both bus stops. Central Hawkes Bay District Council would like to take this opportunity to inform you of this proposed new service and welcome any feedback that you may have.
