Lake Road map
Pursuant to section 319A of the Local Government Act 1974 it is the intention of the Central Hawke’s Bay District Council to change the name of Lake Road.
We propose to change the name of the road currently named “Lake Road” in the Wanstead/Flemington area back to its original name of “Lake Station Road”
This is being considered at the request of the residents of the road for safety reasons to avoid confusion for emergency responders with other similar named roads in the Central Hawkes Bay area.
A copy of the proposal is available for viewing at the Council Office in Waipawa and at the public libraries during normal opening hours.
Any persons objecting to the above proposal is called upon to lodge notice of their objection by email at governance@chbdc.govt.nz or in writing at the office of Central Hawkes Bay District Council, Ruataniwha Street, PO Box 127, Waipawa before 4pm Wednesday 31 October 2018.
