Lake Road Name Change

LAKE ROAD

Pursuant to section 310(a) of the Local Government Act 1974 the Central Hawkes Bay District Council advise it is the intention to change the name of

“Lake Road” To “Lake Station Road”

This was done at the request of the residents of the road for safety reasons to avoid confusion for emergency responders due to the similarity between other named roads in the district.

Signage for the new road name will be erected before the end of December 2018.
