Have Your Say in the 2019 Central Hawke's Bay Residents Survey

Residents are encouraged to have their say on Central Hawkes Bay District Council services by taking part in the 2019 Residents’ Opinion Survey.

The annual survey, which runs until 14 June helps the council find out how local services are landing with residents, understand aspects that people are happy with and identify areas for improvement.

“Customer Excellence is hugely important when it comes to supporting our community to Thrive, and we need to know we’re getting it right. The feedback we receive from people is a great temperature check for how well the council delivers its services, and how easy it is to do business with us.  It ensures we are listening to customer expectations and responding to them,” says Chief Executive Monique Davidson.

Results from last year’s survey have helped us review the fundamentals of how we deliver our services and communicate to our communities. We have since increased communication on key projects like the Big Water Story and key infrastructure areas such as roading and made changes to our internal processes to improve consistency of service delivery to the community.

The survey takes no more than 10 minutes to complete and people can take part by going here

A company called Research First will also conduct a phone survey of a sample of residents until 14 June and residents are encouraged to give their views freely if they are contacted.
