Come and enjoy Doggie Day Out with your furry friend on 1 November 2020

Doggie Day Out

The annual Doggie Day Out is taking place on Sunday 1 November 2020 between 9.30am and 11.30am at Russell Park, on the old soccer field behind the BMX bike track. There will be stall holders with various services/merchandise on offer, an agility show, a doggie fashion show and spot prizes for any canines that dress to theme – Island Luau. Free ice creams will be available.

This is a free event for the whole family to enjoy including our furry pals!

Please note: dogs must be on a leash at all times.

Stall Holders

If you have services or merchandise for our animal lovers and would like to have a stall at the Doggie Day Out then please get in touch with our Animal Services team by emailing dogs@chbdc.govt.nz or phone 06 857 8060. To ensure we have a fun and safe event there are a few important guidelines for our stall holders to follow, more information can be found here

Event Location

Doggie Day Out is taking place in Russell Park. Go through the main entrance to Russell Park and go past the netball courts and the BMX bike track as indicated on the map below. It will be signposted on the day.

Doggie Fashion Show

Dress your dog in this year's theme 'Island Luau' and be in to win some amazing spot prizes. Register your dog to participate in the fashion show by completing the online form below or register on the day.
