The Central Hawkes Bay District Council (CHBDC) is embarking on a project to reconfigure the Johnson Street Pump Station and Treatment Plant.
The Central Hawkes Bay District Council (CHBDC) is embarking on a project to reconfigure the Johnson Street Pump Station and Treatment Plant. The aim of this is to both align the configuration with the other pumping and treatment stations on the network and remove some treatment quality and pressurisation issues created by the current configuration, enabling the Johnson Street station to be better utilised.
The team from Max Tarr Industrial Ltd have been on site at the Johnson Street Pump Station and work is progressing well. We are on track to be finished mid-March.
The project is scheduled to start Monday 1st February 2021 and be completed by the middle of March 2021, taking approx. 6 weeks to complete. Design for the planned upgrade is shown below.
