Celebrating one year of Jobs in Central Hawke’s Bay

Jono Nic Van

A bright blue caravan was the start of something great for Jobs in Central Hawke’s Bay, which launched in July, 2020.
The Mobile Employment Hub created an easily accessible connection point for Jobseekers and Employers. Funded by Ministry of Social Development (MSD) through the Mayors Taskforce for Jobs (MTFJ), the program has a Youth focus, but assists anyone looking for employment or training within our community.
Currently the project team consists of Bridget, Jono and Nicola with the addition of a Youth Transitions Coordinator in July 2021. The blue caravan has been replaced with a more fit-for-purpose van, so the team can continue connecting jobseekers and opportunities, efficiently.
