Supporting our local Tradies

20210512 173926 1

Since commencing the Apprentice Support Workshops in April 2021 we have had three successful workshops with over 22 participants attending as well as tutors from local providers offering specialist support.
These weekly workshops are open to any locally based apprentices and with support from Eastern Institute of Technology (EIT) in Waipukurau, participants have a facilitated learning space with access to internet,
computers and a free dinner.
Toby – “It’s good to have a regular time slot to commit to working through this work, I struggle to stay focused on the work at home”
Sam – "I used to go up to one of these night classes in Napier, but it stopped. I don’t get much paperwork done at home, so it’s great to have this opportunity. See you next week."
If you want to be involved or know someone who would benefit from attending these workshops contact Jono to register your interest - 027 258 0633.
