Cyclone Gabrielle - Community Conversations

Community Conversations Round Two - Moving Forward Together

After the devastating impact of Cyclone Gabrielle in February and a series of nine ‘Community Conversations’ in May, the first edition of Central Hawke’s Bay’s Recovery and Resilience Plan  was released.

It focused on the short term needs to restore Central Hawke’s Bay’s social, built, economic and natural environments, and supporting our people in the immediate aftermath. As we forge ahead with recovery, we invite you to join us at a conversation near you (see timetable to the right).

We’ll update you on our progress so far and want to hear how you think we’re tracking and where our priorities should be in the long-term for your community.

If you would like to read more about what came out of our initial round of Community Conversations, click on the tile for your location below.

Keep an eye out here or on our Facebook page and listen to Central FM for updates.
