Do I need a droving permit?

If you are droving any stock on council roads for more than a single day you will require a Droving Permit.

Either e-mail Bruce Kitto or phone the Council on 06-857-8060. Generally at least 24 hours notice is required when applying for a Droving Permit.

How long will the process take?

If you have all the information available when asking for the permit, it will be filled out immediately by the Stock Ranger and either handed, faxed or posted to you.
