Central Hawke's Bay District Council collects weather data from a weather station based near Waipukurau airfield. The data dates from December 2000 to the present day.

The raw data is being made available to anyone who wishes to use it.

• The data is known to contain errors caused by occasional hardware failure or other problems. A lot of this data can be stripped by searching for any entries with a value of "-6999".
• The files are zip compressed TAB delimited files. Column names are included at the top of each file.
• The data files are updated with the latest readings at 10:15am each day.
• This data is as is / where is. Central Hawke's Bay District Council does not guarantee the accuracy of the data.
