Russell Park, Waipukurau Coffee/Cafe Cart Location Opportunity


Central Hawke’s Bay District Council is advertising for Expressions of Interest from motivated persons to run their Coffee / Café Cart in Russell Park.

Russell Park is located in Waipukurau; Central Hawke’s Bay adjacent to State Highway 2 and is the community’s premier Sports and Recreation Park. Russell Park is proudly a family orientated Community Park that is both alcohol and smoke free.

 In recent years Russell Park and the adjacent facilities have undergone significant developments and upgrades. 


Russell Park now boasts:

  • AW Parsons Heated Pool and Stadium
  • One of NZ’s largest free splash pads
  • Popular playground
  • Skate Park
  • Sports fields that host events from Junior and Senior Football to School sports events.
  • Parking for CHB community pathways.
  • Memorial Hall
  • Upgraded car parking


Proposed License to Occupy

An exclusive spot within Russell Park for your coffee / café cart.

Costs and length of the License to Occupy are to be negotiated.

Any proposal needs to be family focused enhancing and increasing the community feel of Russell Park.



Please reply to in writing with your proposal by 5.00pm on Monday 16 October, 2017

Your proposal should outline: Who you are and what experience you have including your contact details, how you would like to be set up, what you would offer in the way of food and drink, and operational hours.
