Membership

Membership is FREE if you are a Central Hawkes Bay resident.  There is a $20.00 refundable bond for temporary membership if you are not a resident.

Joining the Library is easy - simply come in to either library and complete a simple application form. You may be asked for ID and proof of address. Children wishing to join the library must be accompanied by an adult.

  • Membership entitles borrowers to use both CHB Libraries and books may be returned to either library.
  • If a replacement card is required there is a cost of $3.00.
  • You are responsible for every item borrowed on your card.

Please let us know if you lose your card, change your address or change your name.
