Winter Warmers has two weeks to go. So keep those report-ins coming
The programme runs from Monday 23 June to Friday 1st August, 2008
Winter Warmers is a 6 week incentive-based reading programme, a winter version of the hugely popular E.C. READ'N Summer Reading Programme. This year the programme has the theme of an island-hopping journey around NZ after an appropriately chilly start in Antarctica.
Each time a review is taken into the library the participants are given a sticker to place on one of the ten destinations featured on the map to New Zealand. When 2 stickers have been awarded they receive their first gift. They receive another and qualify to attend the finale, when they have received another 4 stickers. Those who want to can then go on to receive all 10 stickers and be rewarded with a third bonus prize.
