From 1 July 2010, only yellow Council rubbish bags will be collected from the kerbside.  Old bags such as paper or green plastic will no longer be collected at the kerbside, but MAY be taken to a CHB Transfer Station for FREE disposal.

A reminder that Council Rubbish bags can be purchased from Council, Dairies and Supermarkets for RRP $1.50 (which includes kerbside COLLECTION in towns or beaches OR disposal at any CHB Transfer Station).  Council Rubbish bags are NO LONGER delivered to your property (the cost has been taken off your rates).  Please refer to our website www.chbdc.govt.nz or contact Council on 8578 060 for further information.
