Erecting a Headstone

All headstones must comply with the Cemetery Regulations and Bylaws (a copy may be obtained from the Waipawa Council building on Ruataniwha St - ph +64 6 857 8060 or at the Waipukurau Service Centre Office – ph +64 6 858 8195). 

Submit a written application (available here) together with a diagram of the headstone showing dimensions and materials.  Once the application is processed a permit will be made available from the Waipukurau office. (An application fee of $30.00 will apply).
