CASHIER / RECEPTIONIST
This is an important front line position in our busy Waipawa office providing our customers with the first point of contact with the Council. The successful candidate will be a self starter with a pleasant personality, able to work under pressure with a smile.
We’re looking for an individual who has the following skills:
- Relevant experience in processing of cash and cheque payments, recording of transactions, issuing of receipts and daily balancing
- Competency with Microsoft and NCS software applications
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Experience in dealing with a wide range of people
- A strong focus on customer service
- Telephone and reception experience
- General administration
- A sense of humour and enjoys working in a team environment
- Energy, enthusiasm and a positive attitude
- Initiative
- Current drivers licence
This position is advertised as full time, but has potential as a job share situation.
